Shift4 Payments has filed paperwork to go public. The initial public offering (IPO) is expected to commence after the [U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission] SEC completes its review process, subject to market and other conditions. Allentown, Pa.-based Shift4 Payments is the latest ISO to go public, including Atlanta’s EVO Payments, which went public in May 2018. That company’s shares opened at $20.05, which was about 25% higher than the company’s IPO price.
